Supplyframe Selects Dr. Uwe Knorr as Sr Director of Global Business Development for SamacSys 

Supplyframe has officially announced the appointment of industry veteran Dr. Uwe Knorr as the global head of business development at SamacSys. Dr. Knorr joins the team after serving as the head of Business Development for EMA Design Automation’s Ultra Librarian business. Prior to this, he held senior positions at Ansys, Transim, and Arrow Electronics. 

Dr. Knorr will work with industry experts to bring marketing and sales solutions to the electronics component manufacturing industry. Alex MacDougall, CEO of SamacSys (which was recently acquired by Supplyframe) remarks that since that acquisition by Supplyframe, we have been able to ramp up our business and focus on growth. 

With Dr. Knorr joining the team, SamacSys will benefit from his experience, expertise, and global connections. Dr. Knorr also shows similar optimism, citing Supplyframe’s acquisition of SamacSys as a symbol of their commitment to help the engineering community create their next big idea. “I am looking forward to joining the team and helping accelerate this business.”
